Study your quotes.
You need to study your quotes thoroughly like what this commercial photographer does. Your quotes should be well prepared and well planned out. The moment that you become sloppy with your quotes as a wedding photographer will turn out to be the moment wherein you will see a decline in your career as well. There are only two possible ways for this to go if you quote incorrectly. You will either end up with a quote so high that it will end up making the clients feel a bit as if you are taking advantage of them and that you might not be well worth the time. On the flip side, a quote that is way too low than normal will give off the notion that you are somewhat desperate already and that you are dying to get clients to book you. Insure all your deals with a contract.
Insurance in the form of a legal and binding contract will get to hold clients up to their end of the deal and protect you from being abused or from being taken advantage of as a professional photographer. At the same time, it is a reminder as well that you need to deliver on your end of the deal as well. It is something that will more or less serve as mutual protection somewhere along the way and it is something that the clients will get to appreciate if they understand that the document lends legitimacy to the transaction at the end of the day.
